‘Rediscovering Rewanui’
Open day, Rewanui Forest Park
Sunday 27th November 10am-2.30pm
On November 27th we invite you to join us at the Rewanui Forest Park, just 20 minutes from Masterton. We have walks for all the family through our beautiful trees and farmland.
Attractions include:
- Easy guided walks through native bush and areas of exotic tree species. Learn about what we have growing at Rewanui
- A challenging walk to the top of Mt Clyde – at 555 metres above sea level, this is as high as the top of the Rimutaka Hill road. Best views in the Wairarapa!
- Guest speakers – Gareth Winter and Brian Lochore
- Enter the draw to win a helicopter ride over Rewanui!
- Bring a picnic or make the most of the Tinui School sausage sizzle.
Where to find Rewanui
Rewanui Forest Park is on the Masterton/Castlepoint Road. We are on the left, about 23 km from town, and just before the turn-off to Riversdale. Look for our woolshed
Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a lead.
