February 2010

Ian Nicholas (centre) from Scion

Ian Nicholas (centre) from Scion (formerly Forest Research) took the opportunity to visit Rewanui while in the area for the Eucalyptus seminar. He is particularly interested in the Redwood and Eucalyptus Saligna plantings as possible alternatives to Radiata on a lot of the East Coast. Others in the photo are Heather Atkinson, Ians assistant, Stuart Orme and Paul Millen.
